New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Rain Perry admits to an enduring crush on
Keanu Reeves. She has been keeping tabs on the growing Sad Keanu phenomenon and once even went to see his band Dogstar perform. What she learned at the Dogstar show, she says, is that "in the spectrum of Keanu Reeves obsession, I am one teeny tiny player." Now the songwriter has written "Keanuville" to fully illustrate the mesmerizing draw Reeves' has on
women worldwide.
"Keanuville" is featured on her "achingly beautiful" (Radar) 'Internal Combustion' album (out now on Precipitous Records) and penned following a somewhat disturbing conversation with a fan at the show.
Watch the
video for the "keen, novelistic" (American Songwriter)
song that beautifully conveys the wistful emotions and complex needs of the obsessed.

"Keanuville" is directed by 20-year-old Micah Van Hove, who also makes a cameo appearance as Keanu himself, features an animated dream sequence created by Susan Chien and includes appearances by actress
Sasha Ilford as the obsessed fan and Perry as herself.
